Bucket List

Amanda Bair, my friend since I was four, found out shortly after giving birth to an eight pound, two ounce baby girl, that cancerous or precancerous cells were found in her Pap Scan. The doctors are not sure if there is anything they can do about it. She has an appointment on 07/07/2008. She thinks she's not going to make it, and so she has decided to make a bucket list. In honor of her, I've decided to do the same.
For those of you who are not as well-informed, a bucket list is a list of all of the things you'd like to do before you die in order to feel that you've lived a fullfilled life. So, here is my list of everything that would make my life complete.

1. Have a baby.
2. Get married.
3. Go to England.
4. Go to Ireland.
5. See every state in the U.S.
6. Move to Wisconson.
7. Go to every theme park in the world.
8. Go sky diving.
9. Go to France.
10. See my first grandbaby.
11. Visit a third-world country.
12. Get fitted for a bra in China.
13. Make a million dollars.
14. Have sex in the country in the back of a pickup truck.
15. Have my own home built.
16. See Christina Aguilera in person.
17. Get my fortune told by a real psychic.
18. Win a race.
19. Go to Germany.
20. Lose all the weight.
21. Be completely independant.
22. Make a CD.
23. Go mountain climbing.
24. Watch my baby grow up.
25. Own my own restaurant.
26. Own a boat.
27. Be in a magazine.
28. Donate blood.
29. Donate bone marrow.

Not Your Kid

So apparently my mother has decided that because I spend the extra hours between my 40-46 hour work week and school hours with my boyfriend that I don't deserve everything that my sister does. A few weeks ago she went out and bought she and Brea brand new beds, but not me, because I'm "never home." Today she went and bought Brea about 50 - 150 dollars worth of clothes, but wont buy them for me because I'm "never home." Fine you stupid bitch. If we're going to play that game then come Monday, I disown you. You don't need to see my kids, you don't need to come to my wedding, you don't need to see me. Apparently the fact that I see my boyfriend a whole day or two a week is too much. I'm terribly sorry for "messing up." I'm done with the way I'm mistreated. I still remember the day I came home from school crying because all of my so-called-friends chased me around the school yard calling me fat, and remember what you said? You told me that I'm selfish and that I can't see past my own nose. Where did you come from? Why did you have me? It's going to be hard. I'm going to live off of Ramen Noodles, but at least I'll be done with your fake-ass parenting.

Life as I Know It

Working at McDonald's this past year has been no picnic. I have been overworked and underpaid for so long that basically I've lived in a world of stress, sickness, and inability to pay. McDonald's was a lot of fun when I started, but now we have new management, and while our numbers are amazing and our store is improving greatly when it comes to quality and speed of service as well as accuracy, our employees are getting treated more and more poorly. I can no longer stand to go to work. I get sick thinking about it.
That's why I'm so overjoyed to get this new job. On Monday I start working for my boyfriend Drew's mother Kathi. I work 4 hours a day, 5 days a week at 9 dollars an hour. I get to wear nice clothes and the job will be much less stressful than McDonald's. Finally a job where I'll be treated like an adult. I can't wait. Then on Monday after class I move in with Drew at his mom's house. Then once we get everything figured out financially and find a place, we're going to move out on our own. I can't wait! Finally, time to actually do my homework!
Well I've been behind on my schedules so I should get to work.
